In 2006, Wrep acquired a pair of small semi detached houses of approx 1800 sq ft each, and a coach house of approx.1200 sq ft. Planning permission was achieved to demolish the site, retaining the coach house, and construct a pair of significant properties of impressive size and specification; one at 5500 sq ft, the other, incorporating the coach house, at 6700 sq ft. Both plots were sold off plan at £3.75m and £4.75m respectively, before any construction had commenced, providing an excellent return to investors and, with such an early sale, negligible market risk.
