After ten years in the profession, Michael Drain (MA Royal College of Art) founded Michael Drain Architects Ltd in 2002 to create a design environment in which the highest quality of Architecture is valued.

MDA is based in Market Place, W1, which is a vibrant and exciting area in the heart of London.

An experienced team of Architects and Architectural Technicians work together in a fully CAD-based environment.

They apply both logic and imagination to resolve complex design briefs to create fundamentally simple yet beautiful solutions.

They believe in Architecture as an Art Form, and have a process of continuous review within the design studio to ensure that the Architectural principles behind each design are strengthened and reinforced throughout the project.

This has enabled projects to change and resolve in detail without losing the strength of the primary Architectural Concept.
